We just completed unit one (chapters 1-6) in "History Alive" (Early Humans and the Rise of Civilization). We will now begin working on a District-wide Persuasive Anchor Paper which focuses particularly on chapter 6 (Exploring Four Empires of Mesopotamia). There will be a lot of pieces to this writing assignment. Most of the work will be completed in class, but periodically there will be parts coming home for homework.
